Medicare
When it comes to Medicare, you have choices. And that can be really confusing. Once you’re eligible for Parts A and B, should you add Part D, and do you need a Medicare Supplement Insurance Plan – and if so, do you qualify for financial assistance?
HERE’S THE SIMPLE PART: EVERY AMERICAN OVER 65 IS ELIGIBLE FOR MEDICARE.
After that, it’s complicated, and not everyone’s situation is the same. Sure Health Insurance Services works with insurance companies, and can help you find the plan that’s just right for you.
Medicare Products
Basic Medicare doesn’t cover everything. Medicare Supplement Insurance Plans (Medigap) can help pay some of the costs that Original Medicare doesn’t cover, such as copayments, coinsurance and deductibles. Some Medigap policies also offer coverage for particular services that Original Medicare doesn’t cover, such as medical care when you travel outside the United States.
A Medigap policy is different from a Medicare Advantage Plan. Those plans are ways to get Medicare benefits, while a Medigap policy only supplements your Original Medicare benefits. Let us help you decide whether a Medigap policy meets your needs. Our help cost nothing.
Medicare Part D
Medicare drug coverage (Part D) helps pay for prescription drugs you need. It's optional and offered to everyone with Medicare. Even if you don’t take prescription drugs now, consider getting Medicare drug coverage. If you decide not to get it when you’re first
eligible, and you don’t have other creditable prescription drug coverage, you may be penalized later.

Health Insurance
The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, referred to as the Affordable Care Act or “ACA” for short, is the comprehensive health care reform law enacted in March 2010. The law has 3 primary goals:
Make affordable health insurance available to more people. The law provides consumers with subsidies (“premium tax credits”) that lower costs for households with incomes between 100% and 400% of the federal poverty level (FPL).
Expand the Medicaid program to cover all adults with income below 138% of the FPL. Not all states have expanded their Medicaid programs.
Support innovative medical care delivery methods designed to lower the costs of health care generally.
